This film was made in about 2007 by the BGS Artist in Residence, Jeanine Breaker and "stars" Dr Nicholas Riley (and Charlie the dog!)

Although entitled the Diminution of Fairham Brook, the short film (10 minutes or so) is more about the geology of Kingfisher Bank and as a non-geologist, I find it absolutely fascinating and Dr Riley's knowledge awesome.

I would however point out that I think the main reason for the brook's low flows nowadays is more down to the lowering of the hydraulic gradient caused by the canalisation of the brook downstream of Bunny, by the Internal Drainage Board in the 1980's.
